UTM STUDENT ACTIVITY

I have join many activities at school before I came to university. I studied Civil Engineering at Faculty of Civil Engineering in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. The Faculty of Civil Engineering is one of most active faculty in this campus. Moreover, Persatuan Kejuruteraan Awam (PEKA) is the one of most active association in campus.  There are organize many activities for their student, especially for Civil Engineering’s students.

For once a week, every first year student of Civil Engineering has student activity in Tuesday. I want to share my experience in student activity. First activity for first year student is “Study Circle”. Every student has two mentors for each group. In a group, it has 5 to 6 students for each group. The second year’s student of Civil Engineering as a mentor for first year student as a mentee. In study circle, mentor as guide for the first year student to adapt the campus environment. Mentor also help the mentee give the flow of study in a campus. Besides that, mentor also sharing knowledge to mentee. Moreover, study circle also have outdoor activities such futsal. In Friday morning, mentors and mentees played futsal at Arked Angkasa futsal court.

Next, is the lecture about “Signs of Creator”. The lecture is about the beautiful creator of nature. His name Jay Suman. He explain the process of universe create according Al-Quran. Many explanation about the nature, human and animal in Al-Quran.
