Attractions in my hometown

My hometown  is at Manjung which locates in Perak. This city is also well known as the maritime city and some part of the city is a place of many tourists wants to visit most in my city. The first attraction in my hometown is The Royal Malaysian Navy which is one of the most modern in the region. It is equipped with army facilities, port, accommodation, a hospital, a museum, officers and recruitment training center, sports complex and other facilities. The next attraction in my hometown is Teluk batik snorkeling park, beside snorkeling visitor can take in the beautiful scenery of the park area which include waterfall, universal lover rock, fishing and boating. Beside, in my hometown, we also can has a nice view sunset particularly in Damar Lumut area and Pangkor Island. After that, at Manjung, there is a hill near to Lumut police station, that is Bukit Engku Busu. It’s about 1600 high. Every day you will see the Malaysian Navy having training and exercises going up and down the hill. Another attraction is The Mangrove Forest Park (Taman Paya Bakau). Also known as Lumut Mangrove Swamp, it is located opposite Venice of Perak, a newly developed area that comprises big residential and shop houses. If you are driving to the Mangrove Swamp, pay attention to a signboard along the highway to Ayer Tawar. Even though the swamps are muddy in nature, visitors need not worry about getting dirty as there is a walkway for people to walk around the forest.
